With location permission, Reveal checks you into an open zone automatically while you use the app. Hide whenever you want.
Send an invite by alias—like Kind Phoenix or Brave Otter. Choose your answer to a shared-interest question, then use approximate direction and a fresh surroundings photo to find each other.
Ask each other the question in person. Enter each other’s chosen answer correctly, with fresh, accurate GPS placing you less than 50 metres apart. Your identities unlock after both complete the check. See what you have in common, then keep talking in Connections.
GPS gets you close. A photo makes the place familiar. Each update replaces the previous photo—just the latest view, shared for your encounter.
A shared question. A nearby answer. A human hello.
Explore starts with nearby Reveal Zones. Switch to the community Bumps map to see where paths cross most often, with more glow where there is more activity.
Outside Reveal Zones, Bumps remembers approximate crossings with other visible participants. Your Bumps tab keeps your personal history—even when paths cross more than once.
A friendly animal alias. An affinity score when there is enough profile information. A map of your shared crossing area. Your identity stays private.
The community map shows recent crossings in approximate areas. Smaller areas require minimum activity; older crossings without a saved map area may appear only as a broad citywide total. It never displays someone’s live position. Your personal history shows an area and time. Browser location works while Reveal is open and you allow access. Keep Reveal open to update your location. You choose when to be visible.
Your crossing history, grouped by person and approximate area.
Start with swipe cards to choose places, interests and people. You can also use ChatGPT or another AI to draft your profile, then review every idea before saving it.
Each idea is yours to keep, edit or remove. Update your profile anytime in You. Reveal is available in ten languages.
The AI option uses only information available in your AI conversation. Missing context stays blank.
Get to know yourself a little better with three simple questions in Explore, once a day. Complete the set and the card disappears. Your answers add context to affinity.
Your interests are more than keywords. Reveal’s multilingual AI compares the meaning behind your reviewed profile, across five dimensions.
Three quick answers add fresh context. Discover affinity in your zone, in Bumps and with your connections.
The score is a similarity percentile against a synthetic reference set. It is a starting point, not a probability or guarantee of a connection. When there isn’t enough information, Reveal leaves the score open.
The model runs locally on the Reveal server. Your reviewed profile and daily About me answers inform the score—not your location, private chats or encounter photos.

A person counts once. Your profile type is a separate part of your story. Edit your name and animal alias in You. Create an optional cartoon avatar from your photo, then take it with you across Explore, Bumps and Connections.
